Educational & Ministry History: B.A. in Psychology from the University of South Florida. M.A. in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. My wife and I began working with the senior high youth group at Christ's Church in 2005. Tonya and I both have always had a desire to work with youth and during this time, I had a strong sense of God's call to serve Him vocationally. The following year I was able to join the staff as youth pastor part-time while continuing to teach special education at Magna Vista High School. In the summer of 2007 I was set apart to serve full-time, overseeing the Student and Children's Ministry at Christ's Church.
Fun Stuff: I love spending time with my lovely wife and my two beautiful daughters. I also enjoy playing sports, especially basketball, football, and softball.
Favorites: Family, friends, dogs, sports, Philadelphia sports teams, children/youth, Mt. Dew, and food.
Makes me laugh: Tonya, Audrey & Emma, my Dad, my dogs, the Simpsons, the Three Stooges.
What's on the iPod: My favorite bands such as U2, Chris Tomlin, Newsboys, Steve Taylor, and music from Ireland. I also subscribe to podcasts from Mark Driscoll and Pastor Buck.
The Inside Scoop: I love being with my family (immediate & extended) during the holidays. I also love cold snowy weather. Besides my wife, my best friend is my Dad.
