What kind of a church is Christ's Church?
We are a non-denominational church. We are distinctly Christian in our beliefs and doctrines, holding to the Bible as our primary guide for faith and practice. People who attend Christ's Church come from a variety of denominational backgrounds and some have never been to church before. We are old and young, married and single, growing in ethnic and economic diversity and our mission is to bring glory to God by growing a biblically healthy spiritual family of fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

What does your church believe?
As stated above, Christ's Church is distinctly Christian in our beliefs and practices, and we hold to the Bible as God's Word and our guide. For a more detailed explanation of our statement of beliefs and doctrine, click here.

What should I wear?
We hope you will dress comfortably - as if going to a friend's home and enjoy our relaxed atmosphere. You'll find people wearing everything from shorts all the way to an occasional tie. So just come as you are and dress however you'd like.

Will I have to sign anything, give anything, or be singled out in any way?
The answer is simply No, No, and No! We're not in the business of pressuring people. We always encourage people to participate in our service, but you won't have to wear a sign saying, "I'm a visitor!" or anything like that. However, whenever you are ready and feel comfortable doing so, we do have a connect card that we'd like for you to fill out so we can get to know you better as you are getting to know us.

What time is your service and how do I get there?
Our service of worship begins each Sunday at 10:00 am. Our facilities are located at 1425 Spruce Street Ext. here in Martinsville. Need directions?

Why did you begin meeting in a school?
Christ's Church was organized in 1994. Since that time we have met in three rented locations, believing that many churches build too soon. This causes them to build smaller than they should and as a result, have less funds available for staff and ministry programs which directly affect people. We chose to invest in staff and delay building until we could invest in something which contribute to rather than hinder growth. In December of 2005, God blessed us with the opportunity to purchase the facilities that now serve as home to our current ministries.

What about my kids? Is there a special service for them?
Yes, there is an age specific part of Christ's Church's ministry that is focused on meeting the spiritual needs of your children of all ages. If you have children birth - 5th grade, we have a children's church ministry which is offered simultaneously with our Sunday service. If you have teens, their connection group meets on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. Please contact Pastor Tim for more information.
