We Can Know God!
We want to help people get to know the Father through His Son Jesus Christ. But beyond that, we want to help you to know Him intimately. That's one of the reasons why we place such a high priority on worship. We understand it to be a way of life, a daily celebration of God's presence. In fact, our Sunday service is simply the corporate overflow of a worshiping lifestyle. I like to describe our Sunday gatherings as alive and refreshing - a celebration! We seek an openness to the Holy Spirit that is Scripturally balanced, free of hype, manipulation and emotionalism.
We Can Come Home!
We offer love and acceptance to everyone regardless of personal background or current situation. At Christ's Church, "come as you are" means more than how you are dressed. Our "connection groups" are the building blocks of belonging at Christ's Church. Eight to twelve people meet regularly in homes to study the Bible, pray and simply share life together. These folks become some of our best friends in Christ. Together we laugh and cry, share burdens and victories; give and receive ministry.
We Can Make a Difference!
Our primary emphasis at Christ's Church is on the Word of God. Therefore, we embrace the biblical teaching that God has gifted every believer for ministry and service. In other words, by discovering our spiritual gifts (what each of us is "good at" in the kingdom), we can influence our neighborhoods, workplaces, cities, nation, even the world with the life-changing love of Jesus Christ! God's Spirit empowers each of us for personal growth and maximum ministry impact. As our lives touch others, the world is changed - one person at a time.
