Connect: Plug in to What God is Doing in our Fellowship

Small groups are the building blocks of belonging at Christ's Church. They are safe places for folks to journey in the hope of Christ together and be transformed by the gospel through discussion, Bible study, and fellowship. Groups meet at various times throughout the week all over Martinsville and Henry County.

Why Small Groups?
Growing Together - Spiritual growth, accountability, and soul care can occur organically as members learn together how to love the Lord and one's neighbors as oneself.

Being the Church - At Christ's Church, groups are not only the primary entry point for community, but truly represent the church at a personal level. Therefore, belonging to a small group is the way to truly be a part of the Christ's Church family.

Loving our Community - Small groups also serve as a means of reaching others for Christ, recognizing that seeing the gospel lived out in a caring community serves as a powerful testimony to the radical love of God.

What's the Bottom Line?
"God's work of change has relationships both as the necessary means and a wonderful goal. Humble community is not the icing on the cake of Christianity. In a real way, it is the cake. These relationships of love are a means of personal growth, a mark of God's people being purified, and a clear argument to the world for the truth of the gospel."
- Timothy Lane & Paul Tripp, How People Change
