Thanks for checking out our website!

At Christ's Church, one of the first things you'll notice is that things are different here than what you might expect from a "church." That's all intentional. We exist first and foremost, "For His Name and Eternal Fame," (Isaiah 26:8). We believe that our highest aim is to "glorify God and enjoy Him forever."

BeliefStatement
We want to be a radically God-centered people. As St. Augustine put it, "Thou has made us for Thyself, O Lord, and our hearts are restless until they find rest in thee." Or borrowing from the words of John Piper, "God is most glorified in us, when we are most satisfied in Him." We believe this is the chief end of humankind and, in joy, want to chase after Jesus.

We know that as we pursue this aim, God will make Christ's Church a community of mission. God is the ultimate missionary, always pursuing people for rescue and redemption. If we abide in Him, then we will naturally have the awesome opportunity to participate in His work.

At Christ's Church, we believe in keeping it real: real people, living real lives in real relationship with God and each other. From the unconvinced skeptic to the fully devoted believer, our contemporary approach to faith and community is intended to help you explore your questions in intelligent and relevant ways.

But we're not a church where you can plop down, navel gaze, get your religion-itch scratched, and stuff yourself full of Bible bon-bons. We are a church of revolutionaries (at least, wannabe revolutionaries!). We want everything we do to be radically Christ-centered. We're not perfect, but with God's help, we're trying! At the end of the day we want to help people find their hope, joy and satisfaction in Him.

Thanks again for visiting our website. Feel free to click around and get to know us. Better still, we invite you to check us out in person on Sunday mornings. After all, there's nothing like the real thing, and when you visit, grab a cup of coffee and relax. When you're at Christ's Church, you're with family.
